this is surely the best small hotel, fabulous and awesome staff, exceptional rooms. the beds are lovely to sleep on. offers brilliant service and fabulous food. moreover, guests can use parking nearby. the location is historic and charming in a lovely area, next to a maze as well as centre. you'll need 5 minutes to walk to the star inn with nice drinks.
Nothings.

And we had a wonderful time dining with excellent food and ambiance.
In my kids' opinion, having more activities for children would be great.

I was welcomed with warmth and attended to well . After a day of enjoying a lovely walk in the hills, I appreciated having quality breakfast options available to start the next day. I also enjoyed a meal at a nearby pub where the atmosphere felt just right.

Charming historical character enhanced my stay.
I was disappointed by the shower water pressure, barely enough for a decent rinse. I could hear noises from other guests, disrupting my peace during the night. It was frustrating, especially considering the price of the stay.

Smooth check-in n the staff were super friendly, like they actualy cared. Breakfast was lovely, had a good variety n filled me up for the day. Room 12 was cozy n comfy, even had tea n coffee ready.
But the shower in my room was pretty bad, barely any water pressure. It could get annoying to hear noises from other guests.

Just a balanced option for a weekend getaway in Wotton-under-Edge with great value. The evening meal was a delight, and we didn't hear the disco from our attic room. Be sure to book a table for dinner to enjoy the full experience.

Comfortable stay with some quirks
We spent one night and loved the spacious room, super clean and comfy. Breakfast was awesome, with really friendly staff, especially the guy named Cameron. Just a heads-up, first night was a bit loud because of a party happening. A cool spot if you don't mind some noise!

Stayed at the swan and loved the charm of this 17th-century pub hotel. It's great location for fine views at the nearby tyndale monument. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the restaurant had a lively atmosphere with excellent service. The staff even were really nice when they returned my forgotten shirt, which I really appreciated!

Loved the cozy atmosphere and really enjoyed the large, comfortable room with a fantastic shower. My favorite was the delicious dinner! The resident dog.

Sunday lunch offered generous portions with a well-prepared taste that impressed diners. The atmosphere had character, boasting old-world charm while newer rooms featured modern comforts.
The layout can feel like a maze was good, spacious but required trekking up numerous stairs. Breakfast could use improvement-while prompt, the options felt limited, and the hot food wasn't up to par, with overcooked bacon and underwhelming eggs. Noise from the kitchen could disrupt sleep, especially in the earlier hours, so come prepared if you're a light sleeper.
